Our Story

Ilkay Collection was created after trying several products which were ordered online and did not deliver the quality and luxury I feel I was promised.

​

I decided to take matters into my own hands, literally, and set about searching for quality and luxury towels during the UK COVID19 lockdown. I also believe that online shopping does not mean impersonal.

​

I was born in Turkey into humble beginnings and I understand the textile market inside out after spending much of my time as a young girl in local markets. Now living in the rolling hills of the Ribble Valley with my partner Simon, it is our passion to bring the very best of Ilkay Collection to your home.

​

Our bath linens are produced in Denizli, near Pamukkale (meaning cotton castle in Turkish), an ancient Spa town. It is a natural site in Southwestern Turkey, famous for a carbonated mineral left by the flowing water. Legend has it that the formations are solidified cotton which is the main crop in Denizli.  These healing ancient thermal springs and the mineral-rich waters once fed the cotton crops are the inspiration for our towels.

As for the rest of our collection, we teamed up with selected suppliers to bring you genuine luxury to enjoy in your own home.
